Assumptions
Single-stranded DNA oligo in water or TE. Concentrations are in micromolar. Volumes are in microlitres. The resuspension step uses V = n × 1000 / C with n in nanomoles and C in micromolar. The working dilution uses the same C1V1 = C2V2 relation as the C1V1 page, with stock as C1 and working as C2.

FAQ
How is resuspension volume calculated?
Volume in microlitres equals amount in nanomoles times 1000 divided by stock concentration in micromolar. At 1 nmol and 100 µM that is 10 µL.
How is the working dilution calculated?
Stock aliquot microlitres equals working concentration times working volume divided by stock concentration. Diluent is working volume minus that aliquot. At 10 µM, 100 µL working, and 100 µM stock, that is 10 µL stock plus 90 µL water or TE.
Can I start from micrograms instead of nanomoles?
Yes. Enter mass in micrograms and a molecular weight in grams per mole, or paste a DNA sequence to estimate molecular weight from A, C, G, and T counts. The page converts to nanomoles before the volume steps.
Does the page upload my sequence?
No. The calculation stays in the browser. The panel notice is the data statement for this page.
